September 24th, that is the day we will get to see if Priyanka Chopra and Ranbir Kapoor create movie magic on screen in Anjaana Anjaani. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is a rom-com but with a bit of a different kahani because the two main characters do not want to fall in love. As he says Anjaana Anjaani is, “a rom-com which I’ve specialized in over the years. But this is a twisted one with a twang and all that jazz.”

Check out what the director had to say about the journey of making the film!

“My experience of making a dream turn into reality.. A journey called Anjaana Anjaani

I have in the past-directed 3 films and all under the banner of Yash Raj films. It was a familiar territory and to step out of the comfort zone into the unknown at that time seemed like a big decision. I say big decision as I was unsure whether I would get the same support that I got in my previous films.

Sajid Nadiadwala is one producer that I keenly observed and realized that his passion lies in making films and not just money. Not many people know that it was me who approached Sajid Nadiadwala to make a film . If Anjaana Anjaani was my dream it was Sajid who made it possible. Having worked with him for more than a year I can say I felt equally at home and as comfortable as I did with Adi.

As Anjaana Anjaani started taking shape I decided that a film like this requires the best our industry has to offer.

Anjaana Anjaani has everything going for it with two superstars Ranbir & Priyanka on board, the best technicians, music director, locations and an outstanding producer. Now the entire onus of the film is on me.

I personally think that this is my best film till date and that I am super proud of the way this simple yet extraordinary love story has turned out.

I sincerely hope and pray that the audience feel the same about Anjaana Anjaani.”

We also have just for you some brand new posters for the film! Looks good na?
