In a simple and traditional wedding, 33-year-old Isha Koppikar has married the man of her dreams, Timmy Narang. Throughout the process of the pre-wedding party – held last week with a Ken & Barbie theme – the sangeet, the wedding and the reception, the couple looked relaxed and happy with Isha looking especially fetching in a blue-and-gold lengha at the sangeet. Later, she switched to the traditional red lengha for the wedding and a stunning pink and silver lengha with matching drop ear-rings for the reception.
The wedding was held at the International Centre for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in Mumbai. “I’m super excited, can’t wait to get married,” Timmy had said on the way to the ceremony.
“The wedding ceremony took place for around four hours in Maharashtrian style,” said an official at the temple. The auspicious time for the wedding was 11am. “Isha was wearing a red and yellow sari and the groom was wearing a cream sherwani. They left the temple around 3 p.m,” he continued. The reception was held at the Narang House in Pali Hill.
Isha recently hurried to complete her work on the movie Hello Darling which also stars Celina Jaitley and Gul Panag.
