Lonely Katrina Kaif

Lovely Katrina Kaif, adored by millions, says she feels lost and alone when she is not in front of a crowd. “Actors feel lost without all the attention. I am most comfortable in front of 300 people on a set. Otherwise, I am lost. It’s too much quiet, too much alone,” she confirmed. One of the reasons for this, she explains, is that her family has remained in the UK whilst she has built her career in Bollywood.

Katrina likes to bury herself in her work. She’s currently developing three new projects – Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor, De Dhana Dhan with Akshay Kumar and much-awaited New York with John Abraham.

De Dhana Dhan, which also stars Suniel Shetty and Sameera Reddy, has many underwater sequences and most of the cast have been sick recently – including Katrina who has had a cold and a cough for a couple of weeks now and has been taking antibiotics to prevent secondary infection. “But the water is clean,” says Suniel, “It’s been disinfected every day. The director, Priyadarshan, is very clear about that. But it isn’t easy. I mean I love the water and swimming. But this is tough. These underwater sequences being shot at Film City are supposed to be part of the sequences in Singapore. We’ll be shooting the rest of the sequences there.”
