The trailer of Prakash Jha’s much-anticipated film Jai Gangaajal has been unveiled. Priyanka Chopra is playing SP Abha Mathur in the cop-drama, which revisits the dusty heartland of Central India, and examines the society-police relationship.
About her character, the actress said, Abha Mathur is a tough woman yet graceful and feminine at the same time.”
Talking about Priyanka, the director was full of praise, “Priyanka was the character from day 1,there was no need to direct her.”
Written and directed by Prakash Jha, produced by Prakash Jha Productions and Play Entertainment and co-produced by Milind Dabke, the film is slated to release on March 4, 2016.
