Seems like the South stars are making their move on Bollywood in a big way this year. Already we have seen Asin, Trisha Krishnan and Priyamani make their mark and will also see Kajal Agarwal and Ileana D’Cruz enter the industry with the remake of Singham and Anurag Basu’s Barfi respectively but the men are not far behind. Suriya Sivakumar’s performance in Rakta Charitra 2 has been applauded despite mixed reviews. But the south star that has our interest is the talented National Award Winner Prakash Raj.

Although we have seen Prakash Raj in 2009 blockbuster Wanted, the actor has been busy with his South commitments, including his home production Silent Movies’ Telugu suspense drama Gaganam that has garnered critical and commercial success. But the actor is all set to return with the remake of the Tamil film Singham in a role he did in the original. While the story has stayed the same, there has been changes made to suit the audience and their sensibility to make an even racier action adventure film and will be directed Rohit Shetty with Ajay Devgn essaying the lead.

The remake is set to go on the floors this month while the title has not been set as yet.
