Rani at Melbourne Film Festival

The newly reclusive Rani Mukherjee has crawled out of her shell and took part in the Melbourne Film Festival last week. Fans also had a chance meet the queen before her film, Dil Bole Hadippa was showcased at the festival. Over the ten days, a number of her films would be featured including the award winning Black, the comedy-hit Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Paheli, Saathiya and Hum Tum. The likes of Imtiaz Ali, Sohail Khan and Raju Hirani would all be in attendance with a number of their films being screened at the festival.

Besides the above, hits that have recently created waves in Bollywood too are being showcased. From Zoya Akhtar’s debut film, Luck By Chance to Abhay Deol’s brainchild Dev D as well as Wake Up Sid, Dostana, New York, Kaminey, Paa, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Dostana, Ghajini and soon will all be screened over ten days allowing film buffs to enjoy some older and newer films.
A number of regional films too will be screened.
