Popular South actress Sneha is rapidly becoming a fixture opposite superstar Mammootty in all of his biggest movies. Having worked with him on Vande Matharam, also named Aruvadai for the Tamil market, in which she plays an airline pilot in an exciting terrorist-based action movie, she has already signed up for Pramaani and Pokkiri Raja. Pramaani sees Mammootty in a negative role as a corrupt politician with Sneha as one of his secretaries whilst Pokkiri Raja is a gangster movie, also starring Bollywood’s Shriya Saran.
In addition to her Malayalam movies, Sneha is also working hard in Kollywood, in Muraatu Kaalai with Sundar C, the big-budget historical epic Ponnar Shankar with Prashanth, likely to be one of the biggest hit movies of the year; and finally Nootrukku Nooru with Vinay Rai, a film noir shot in monochrome with what is rumoured to be a Hitchockian script.
Sneha is currently said to be working with a sense of relief after being rescued from a stalker who had been following her, playing pranks on her and sending up to sixty text messages a day, sometimes threatening to kill those near and dear to her if she refused to marry him.
