Being slim, tall and pretty just isn’t enough these days as fashionista Sonam Kapoor herself feels she cannot do item songs. The glamor girl who the young generation look up to claims she doesn’t “have the grace and style and all that requires a little time to develop”.
Although we’ve seen Sonam dance in movies such as Delhi 6 and Aisha, there weren’t any that made you go WOW. At an event when Sonam was approached and the topic of item songs came up Malaika Arora Khan was her answer. “If anyone can do an item number, then it’s Malaika. She is superb. Nobody can beat her. She is fantastic”. She even refers to Malaika to being “the Helen of our generation”.
Sonam says she is “a little young right now” so maybe we will see her in an item song in the future.
