Ghajini (Release date: December 25th) – Ghajini directed by A.R. Murugadoss and staring Surya Sivakumar was the biggest hit of 2005 in Kollywood aka the booming Tamil film industry. Three years later, Murugadoss is ready to release one of the most anticipated movie of 2008, the remake of Ghajini for the Bollywood audience. What makes this project even more special is the fact that Murugadoss has roped in one of Bollywood’s most versatile talents, Aamir Khan, for the lead role. If that does not peak your interest then I don’t know what will. The actor has been hard at work for the past year to get into the skin of his character, from shaving his head to buffing himself up. Ghajini traces the story of a man suffering from short term amnesia and his constant effort to avenge the death of his fiancee. The movie has Southern beauty, Asin Thottumkal, playing the lead actress and also stars Jiah Khan and Mohit Alawat. With music by A R Rahman, the movie is ready to hit the big screen this Christmas.
