Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani rakes in $ 3.9 million overseas in opening weekend!

yjhdposterWe can easily say that the Ranbir Kapoor and Deepika Padukone starrer Yeh Jawwani Hai Deewani is a hit and what is even cooler is that we can say that it is a hit especially overseas because fans made sure to see the film its first weekend. The Ayan Mukerji directed film had one of the biggest opening weekend in the overseas markets this year with Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani brininging in $ 3.9 million (Rs. 22 crore). In fact, the film entered the Top 10 in many overseas markets!

Produced by Dharma Productions and released by Eros in the international markets, YJHD has garnered positive reviews from film critics and audiences alike globally and continues to storm the box office across territories.

Produced by Karan Johar, the youthful romantic entertainer also features Aditya Roy Kapoor and Kalki Koechlin in key roles. The music of the film by Pritam has also been topping charts with hit tracks like ‘Badtameez Dil’ and ‘Balam Pichkari’ and a special appearance by Madhuri Dixit in the ‘Ghaghra’ track not to mention the lovely ‘Kabira’.
