15feb_pikuThe time is finally here! The shoot for the much-awaited poster for Shoojit Sircar’s Piku took place at Mehboob Studios, Bandra on Monday, 23rd February, 2015. The day was seemingly just as crazy and quirky as the film, with some bananas, a bicycle a host of other crazy props in the mix. Needless to say the actors had a great time shooting that also revealed the camaraderie of the cast.

The air was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as soon as the three actors entered the set, which was being tweeted live from Piku’s Twitter handle, using #PikuPosterShoot.

Big B, who was very excited to meet his two co-stars, also expressed his wish to act with them once again and tweeted about it as well. Later, he also mentioned about the shoot on his blog, “The shoot for the PR of ‘Piku’ has begun and there are some most unusual works being done. Today we were a part of it along with Deepika and Irrfan. Unfortunately I am not permitted to expose them here, but may I just say that they all look rather unusual and hilarious…!”

And it was not just the stars, even the fans reacted to the live tweet of the shoot by running the hash tag, #WeCantWaitForPikuPoster immediately after it was announced that the poster shoot was done.

Billed as one of the films to watch out for in 2015, Piku brings Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Irrfan Khan together for the first time.
