Rekha Bharadwaj and Vishal & Shekhar will close the day 1 of the festival while Arijit Singh and Sajid Wajid will close day 2 of the festival. Other solo acts during the latter half of the day will include Sachin Jigar, Papon and Badshah. Solo acts during the earlier half of the day will include acts like Harish Moyal, Goldie Sohel, Gaurav Dutta, Gurnazar, Divine, Deepak Rathore Project, Azizon Ki Toli, etc. Making a debut at a music festival, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha will perform a 40 minute power packed set singing some of her own songs like Ishqholic, Joganiyan from Tevar, Rajj Rajj Ke from Akira and some of the numbers she has grown up listening to. In a last minute development Amit Trivedi had to step down as a headliner due to a personal emergency and Friends Vishal and Shekhar stepped in to fill in the headliner spot.

In a first of its kind initiative, father-son duos like Navraj Hans and Hariharan will team up with their respective sons Hans Raj Hans and Akshay while Joe Alvares will jam with his daughter Shefali live on stage. Other collaborations will include Zubeen Garg feat Zublee Baruah, Divya Kumar feat Mohammed Irfan, Mahalakshmi Iyer feat Raghav Sachar, Sunny M.R. feat Shalmali Kholgade & Nakash Aziz, Darshan Doshi Collective feat Parthiv Gohil, Elektro Sufi feat. Shahid Mallya & Arkane.

An inverted gramophone of mammoth  proportions will be the centre of inspiration on stage 2 while an inverted piano  will take centrestage on stage 1. The ambience of the festival will imbibe inspirations drawn from the early days of music mapping out the journey of music from its days of inception to the digital age of streaming. A 100 foot installation will greet all fans at the entrance reminding everyone of how the vinyls got replaced by cassette to CDs to ipods.

BMP has an all-woman act that will celebrate girl empowerment with Sonu Kakkar, Hard Kaur, Shibani Kashyap and Vaishali Samant playing a power packed set. BMP SD Burman Tribute will feature reality television singers giving a live tribute to the greatest legend of the Bollywood music industry, SD Burman on his birthday. Arranged by music composer Shashi Suman, the set will feature Amitabh Narayan, Bhaven Dhanak, Charu Semwal, Jimmy Felix, Meenal Jain, Pawni Pandey, Ravindera Upadhyay, Shivangi Bhayana and Yasser Desai. BMP Digital Rockstars will bring together virtual superstars with artists like Arjun Kanungo, Darshan Raval, Raaga Trippin’, Siddharth Slathia setting the stage on fire. BMP Young Stars  will give an opportunity to Gen X talent to showcase their expertise with acts like Aakanksha Sharma, Ami Mishra, Amit Mishra, Asees Kaur, Bhoomi Trivedi, Brijesh Shandilya, Prakriti Kakar, Shashwat Singh, Sukriti Kakar, Yasser Desai and Yashita Sharma in the spotlight.

Touted as Asia’s largest multi-genre Bollywood music festival, Radius Developers presents Hungama Bollywood Music Project will be held at Jio Garden, BKC, Mumbai on September 30 and October 1. With more than 60 artists from the Bollywood music fraternity jamming together on a single platform experimenting with more than 6 genres of Bollywood music ,the festival promises to become a travelling festival in years to come taking a Bollywood festival format to Indian’s across the country and globally. The festival saw interesting pre–event activities right from nationwide talent hunts to master classes to pre bashes including an advisory panel comprising of Rekha Bhardwaj, Hariharan, Sunny MR and Sajid-Wajid who scouted for exceptional talent and introduced experimental formats that have never been seen at a homegrown festival of this stature previously.

Tickets can be purchased from bookmyshow. Starting from Rs. 999/-, with variants including  Early Entry, Student, General and VIP passes. Festival gates will open at 2pm and close at 10pm. From street flea pop ups to jamming enclosures to adventure zones, fans will be treated to a retro psychedelic experience of Bollywood, in a never before done atmosphere.
