Celina Jaitley Breaking Down Walls

Celina Jaitley appears to be breaking down the same walls that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan succeeded in climbing over five years ago. The former Miss India had already bagged a plum role in Quest of Sheherzade which hits the floors in January. It now looks as though she has also grabbed a spot in a New Zealand based movie Love Has No Language.

In Quest of Sheherzade, Celina will be appearing alongside stars such as Orlando Bloom and Sean Connery. “Sean Connery is there in the film and recently Orlando Bloom was also signed. I am playing an important character of an Iranian princess,” she says.

The director of Quest, Ken Khan is also making the New Zealand movie. Ken was also the technical director on Lord of the Rings. Celina is having some difficulty with the sometimes embarrassing Kiwi accent – they say ‘sex’ for example instead of ‘six’. “It was very difficult to speak in Kiwi English as they speak in a completely difficult and weird accent. Neither do they speak like Australians nor like the British,” says Celina.

Celina has not turned her back on Bollywood, however. She will imminently be seen in Golmaal Returns and has a number of other projects lined up including Paying Guest, Hello Darling, Chaai Garam, Showman and Run Bhola Run.
