Whether its a sequel or prequel, comedy seems to be the flavour for B-town at the moment. While Golmaal 3 went on to take the title of the first trilogy styled comedy caper, the makers of Hera Pheri are not far behind. Although originally touted to be with Neeraj Vora, Anees Basmee was announced as the director for the latest Hera Pheri, titled Hera Pheri 4, which is said to have Abhishek Bachchan, Sanjay Dutt and Nana Patekar in the famous roles previously done by Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty and Paresh Rawal.
However, Anees now may be in a bit of a bind as No Entry producer Boney Kapoor wants the already announced No Entry sequel, titled No Entry Mein Entry, to complete quick, considering the producer needs to fix the damage done by the much delayed release of Milenge Milenge. “Yes I’m in the process of scripting both, No Entry Mein Entry and Hera Pheri 4. Whichever is finished first will go on the floors first“ said the director when speaking to Subhash Jha for Mid Day. On the other hand Feroz Nadiadwala, who is currently busy with his other production Power, has Abhishek and Sanjay’s dates on hand and ready for his film.
Whichever comes first, it’s sure to be a laugh-a-thon for the audience this year.
