Note this week’s new spelling of Eesha Koppikhar’s name – these numerologists have a lot to answer for. Eesha is currently promoting Ek Vivaah…Aisa Bhi which is due for release on November 7th. In the movie the Khallas girl sports a toned-down look as she plays the part of a village woman who has to take on the responsibility of supporting her family when her father dies. “I was looking for a role of an Indian girl, who is loving, a perfectionist, believes in commitment and has strong values. This film offered me that and it is a complete family movie,” she explains.

However, Eesha readily admits that what she’d really like to do is a Charley’s Angels-type movie. “I love action and I really want to do an action film. Maybe something like Mr. & Mrs. Smith, Charlie’s Angels or Million Dollar Baby,” she says. To get ready for the role when it comes, she’s been learning Taekwondo and is a red belt in the sport. “Taekwondo requires your entire body to work at the same time and it helps the mind also. I feel while practicing taekwondo, one becomes more focused,” she argues.

Eesha is best known for her roles in Company, Girlfriend, Don: The Chase Begins, Darna Mana Hai, Salaam-e-Ishq and Hello. She will soon be seen in Hello Darling, Shabri and Har Pal. She is a Life Sciences graduate and was a judge at this year’s Miss Universe contest in Vietnam.

Eesha currently has a very close relationship with Timmy Narang and appears to be on a high in her life: “Timmy and I are really happy being with each other and are open about our relationship,” she says, “We don’t hesitate in showing our love towards each other in public. We knew each other since a year and we would keep in touch through SMSes and finally decided to take a step ahead. It’s a wonderful feeling being in love.”
