Harshvardhan Rane, who won hearts with his first hindi film Sanam Teri Kasam, recently shot for a short film called Hiraeth . Hiraeth is a Welsh word meaning homesickness tinged with grief or sadness over the lost or departed. Harsh not just fell in love with the sound of the word ‘Hiraeth’ but was also bowled over by its beautiful meaning and agreed to do the short film because of this reason. The actor’s unusual reason for accepting the short film surprised and pleased the director Aarti Bagdi. Arti does lot of work with Imtiaz Ali’s company Humara Media Labs.

The short film also stars manjari fadnis.

A passionate peta ambasaador, Harshvardhan will soon start shooting for Bejoy Nambiar’s next.
