Producer Kumar Taurani’s Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story opened to an encouraging response as it saw its nationwide release in India on 15th February 2013 with admirable occupancy across the country.

The Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story team also find themselves excited with the reviews coming the films way.

Confirms acclaimed critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh, “The film springs a pleasant surprise in its first hour, with several pleasurable episodes and one-liners [bhaigiri lingo] managing to bring a smile on your face. Vinnil Markan, taking his first stab at direction, handles the light moments with flourish. He sure knows how far to stretch a joke.”

Says Madhureeta Mukherjee, “Vinnil Markan’s ‘feel-good’ goofy ‘gangsta’ story is told with simplicity and modesty. It’s not a slick, stylized gang-fest with shootouts and shenanigans, but an uncomplicated story of a good-goonda who wears his heart (instead of his gun) on his sleeve. Moral of the story: Even bhais make good boyfriends. Got it, bhai saab?”

Commenting on the movie, producer Kumar Taurani says, “We are excited with the response we have received and the movie is doing a fine job nationwide. We have received great feedback and look forward to its performance over the coming week”.

Kumar Taurani’s Jayanta Bhai Ki Luv Story starring Vivek Oberoi and Neha Sharma is out now.
