The battle of the Khan’s is set to take place next June at the box office with two big films set for the same release date.
Ek Tha Tiger, that stars Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles, is set for release on June 1st 2012, as is Sajid Khan’s Housefull 2.
Housefull 2 is directed by Sajid Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Akshay Kumar and Ritesh Deshmukh return to their roles with the addition of Mithun Chakraborty, Asin, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Zarine Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shazahn Padamsee and Shreyas Talpade.
Ek Tha Tiger is a romantic thriller produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Kabir Khan, who is best known for films such a New York and Kabul Express.
Salman Khan is also set to take on Akshay Kumar at the box office for a second time in 2012, during Eid, with Salman’s Sher Khan set to release on the same date as Akshay’s Once Upon A Time in Mumbai 2.
Salman Khan will next be seen on the big screen in Bodyguard opposite Kareena Kapoor. The film is set to release on August 31st 2011.
