madhuridedhishqiyaThe Hindi film industry has grown tremendously in recent years. Bollywood films are multi-million dollar productions, with the most expensive productions costing up to 1 billion rupees (roughly USD 20 million). A large number of high-budget and low-budget Bollywood flicks make it to theatres every year. It is worth mentioning that Hindi films are watched not only in India but in many other countries across the globe. This scenario is unquestionably tempting for newcomers to try their luck in B-Town.  Additionally, seasoned actors too may feel that it is the right time to make a comeback in Bollywood. Take for example Madhuri.

“Bollywood is so big now. There are so many opportunities to do different kind of films,” says Bollywood diva, Madhuri Dixit Nene, during an interview with a leading daily newspaper.

After her marriage to Shriram Madhav Nene, a US-based cardiovascular surgeon in 1999, Madhuri lived in the US for almost a decade and shifted her base to Mumbai with her husband and children in 2011. During these years she acted in Aaja Nachle 2007. It was Madhuri’s comeback after Pukar that released in 2000. Despite Aaja Nachle’s failure at the box office, the Dhak Dhak Girl remained popular. The talented actress managed to grab some plum advertising offers from prestigious brands and was also seen making small screen appearances, mainly in reality shows, the most admired being Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.

“I feel that both I and Sriram Nene can touch so many lives also made us move to India,” adds the evergreen beauty.

Madhuri also mentions that her children should have an Indian upbringing and value system.

Dedh Ishqiya and Gulaab Gang are her upcoming releases.
