Set to hit theaters in India on Janury 1st, Point Break, directed by Ericson Core, is a remake of the 1991 cult hit “Point Break” starring Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. Starring in this new rebooted version are Édgar Ramírez (Zero Dark Thirty, The Bourne Ultimatum, Carlos the Jackal), Luke Bracey (G.I. Joe: Retaliation, The Best of Me, November Man), along with Teresa Palmer (Warm Bodies), Delroy Lindo (Sahara, Gone in Sixty Seconds), and Ray Winstone (Noah, The Departed).

Point Break revolves around a young FBI agent, Johnny Utah (Luke Bracey) who infiltrates a team of thrill-seeking elite athletes – led by the charismatic Bodhi (Edgar Ramirez). This extraordinary team of extreme-sports athletes is suspected of masterminding and carrying out a spate of outrageous, unprecedented and sophisticated corporate heists in the most unusual ways.

The film has already been garnering worldwide recognition for capturing the most daring athleticism, stunts and action sequences all performed by elite athletes representing the world’s best in class in the world of extreme adventure sports.

Mumbai even makes a special appearance in one of those cool action scenes! Talking about the sequence, the insider shared with us, “In a never-seen-before death-defying action sequence, three motorcyclists in helmets bearing images of US presidents rob a diamond-sorting facility in the sky-rise of Mumbai and escape by bursting from its 100-storey windows, dropping gems down to the slums of Mumbai as they parachute away.”

We now have a very fun video as the team of Point Break shows us what what movies both Hollywood and Bollywood have taught us!
