Music Maestro’s Hariharan, Rekha Bharadwaj and Anup Jalota to pay tribute to Jagjit Singh

jagjit-singhTum Bin had set a benchmark for the soulful album which struck a chord with the audience which had an iconic song sung by the legendary singer Jagjit Singh.

Bringing back the legacy, producer Bhushan Kumar and director Anubhav Sinha who have reunited again for ‘Tum Bin 2’ have decided to pay a tribute to the Ghazal maestro Jagjit Singh as he was an important member of the Tum Bin family.

Anikit Tiwari has recreated Jagjit Singh’s iconic number, ‘Koi Fariyaad’, from Tum Bin (2001) which is now titled ‘Teri Fariyaad’. The song has the original voice of Jagjit Singh and Rekha Bharadwaj who has already mesmerized the audience.

And now the makers are organizing a concert on Jagjit Singh’s 5th death anniversary with performances by Rekha Bhardwaj and notable singers like Hariharan, Anup Jalota and Jaswinder Singh.

Tum Bin 2, produced by Bhushan Kumar and Anubhav Sinha releases on November 18.

Complimentary invites for the Tum Bin 2 Jagjit Singh concert, which will be held on October 10 at Rang Sharda Auditorium (Bandra West) from 7.30 pm, is available on a first-come first-served basis today and tomorrow at the venue from 11 am to 6 pm.
