Salman Khan talks Chillar Party

Salman Khan’s debut movie production film Chillar Party is all set to hit the big screen on July 8th 2011, and the actor has been busy promoting his home production.

Chillar Party is the story of a gang of innocent but feisty children who live a carefree and fun life. The film stars Irrfan Khan and features an item number by Ranbir Kapoor.

Salman Khan spoke to the media about who Chillar Party is aimed at. “The film is for people who love their childhood friends. It’s for people who love pets and children. It is a touching film. However, at the same time, it is entertaining. I’m someone who is against parallel cinema. My usool is that audience feels paisa vasool.”

The Bollywood superstar went on to rubbish reports that he is going to delete Ranbir Kapoor’s item number from the film saying, “no, I am not changing even a single minute of the film. If I want, I can delete the song but everything is perfect in the film.”

Salman Khan also confirmed that the money made by Being Human Productions would go to charity. He said, “The money which I make through production will go for charity.”

Salman went on to say why he showed the film to, Indian Politician, Ambika Soni. “I asked if she could make the film tax-free. The purpose is not to make more money but to have more people see the film. The proceeds ultimately go to Being Human foundation. She assured us that she would speak to every CM.”

Salman Khan is currently shooting for his next film Bodyguard which also stars Kareena Kapoor.
