After delivering superhits like Rock On!! and Luck by Chance, dynamic duo Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production house ‘Excel Entertainment’ is working on their next release Game. The movie is also better known in its working title, Crooked.

Directed by Abhinay Deo (of Delhi Belly fame), Game stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sarah-Jane Dias, Kangna Ranaut, Shahana Goswami, Boman Irani, and Jimmy Shergill, among others. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was considered for the female lead in the film, but had to opt out due to date problems. The film is speculated to be in the similar genre as the Bourne Identity trilogy and is shot in Mumbai, Greece, Istanbul. It is tentatively scheduled for a Dec 2010 or Jan 2011 release.

Recently, the unit returned from shooting in the megacity of Istanbul. And although the months’ long shoot did make Abhishek a little homesick, he is now suffering separation pangs from his Game crew & is finding it tough to say goodbye.

Abhishek tweeted about the completion of his shoot – “So it’s game over for ‘Game’. The end of a film’s shoot is always weird. I don’t like it”. “The crew grows into a family of sorts and then we all go our own ways. Sad! Although I am really looking forward to heading back home. Been away for just over a month “

“Will miss the game crew. a fun lot. thanks a lot guys! but now heading back and gonna unleash the 10 heads!!!! RAAVAN time baby!” posted Abhishek now back in Mumbai for the promotions of his upcoming film, Raavan, due to release 18th June.

Farhan also reiterated Abhishek’s sentiments via twitter in his post, “Shoot on ‘Game’ is wrapped. Thanks to all cast and crew members here on twitter for a smooth ride. One ends. Another begins”, referring to his shooting schedule in Spain for the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara directed by sister, Zoya.
