The much awaited trailer of Neerja starring Sonam Kapoor in the lead role was released today. The drama tells the untold story of Neerja – young 23 year old girl. Neerja Bhanot sacrificed her life while protecting 359 passengers aboard a hijacked PanAm flight 73 in 1986. Veteran actress Shabana Azmi plays Sonam’s mother in the movie and we see that music composer Shekhar Ravijiani is also part of the film.

Directed by Ram Madhvani, ‘Neerja’ is produced by Bling Unplugged and Fox Star Studios, presented by Fox Star Studios, and the movie is slated to release on February 19th, 2016.
