Tanushree Dutta thinks the success of Avatar will boost the ratings for the newly-complete Ramu – The Saviour, her child-oriented fantasy movie filmed on a paradise island in Thailand. “Yes, you are right,” she says, “Post Avatar, Ramu will get more eyeballs now. In a way the delay in the making of the film, due to the economic recession etc. is now proving to be boon for us.”

Tanushree is also looking forward to the release of Theeratha Vilayattu Pillai, a high-impact movie that bears some similarities with Bachna Ae Haseeno and which also stars in what many may consider perfect casting Sarah Jane Dias and Neetu Chandra. Predictions are that it could be one of the highest grossing movies in Kollywood this year.

Currently without a soul mate, Tanushree intends to forget about romance this year and to concentrate on her career. “I think I rather work right now and keep these romantic things for the screen rather than life,” she says.
