The controversial Khan has risen to the top platform once again and 2009 just might be his year! With Wanted smashing every box office records, the actor is already turning his head to his future projects, which are as large as Wanted was.

First up will be his brother Sohail Khan’s home production Main Aur Mrs Khanna to be released October 16th. The film will see Salman pairing with Kareena Kapoor after Priyadarshan’s box office disaster Kyon Ki. Fingers crossed this time this Jodi brings much more moolah back home! Sohail Khan also will grace the screen in MAMK and will be seen with his bhai again in this film as their jodi in Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and God Tussi Great Ho was a real hit amongst the audiences. Accompanying the lot will be Yash Tonk. The film is to be directed by Prem Soni.

Following MAMK Vipul Shah’s London Dreams will hit screens on October 30th starring Ajay Devgn and Asin in leading roles with Salman. Director Vipul Shah recently spoke to the media regarding this upcoming ‘Salman Season’ and how he plans to have a very unique promotional tactic in place for London Dreams in order for audiences to still be intrigued by a Salman film and not confuse it with MAMK.

Speaking to Mid-Day the Namastey London director said “the Salman season has begun full-swing. After the whopping Wanted, it is Salman’s home production Main Aurr Mrs. Khanna on Oct 16 followed by Vipul Shah’s London Dreams on October 30th. Fortunately, for me both Wanted and Main Aurr Mrs Khanna are very different from my film, and from one another. However, it’s finally the same Salman. So I’d rather not waste his publicity dates or my efforts to get the film noticed.”

When asked about whether rumours of possible rock concerts for London Dreams’ promotion were true the director said, “It’s never wise to reveal your strategy. You never know who might decide to use it before you do,” he explained.

But that’s not all the challenges put forward before Vipul for London Dreams. It seems that Big B and Ritiesh Deshmukh will be battling Salman on 30th October too as Sujoy Ghosh’s Aladin has been moved from November to October. Vipul said that he had specifically chosen 30th October so that the film didn’t clash with another release however, now that it is clashing he hopes neither of the films will suffer too much.

Well ladies and gentlemen prepare yourself for a Sallu-fied Diwali and month of October because looks like the bad-boy Khan is gearing up to once again rule the nation!
