Mozez Singh’s debut feature film Zubaan, starring Vicky Kaushal and Sarah-Jane Dias in the lead roles is set for release on 4th March 2016.
Zubaan won accolades when it opened Asia’s biggest film festival, the Busan International Film Festival held earlier this year with director Mozez Singh bagging the Rising Director award. It recently also played to an overwhelming response amongst the Indian communities of Los Angeles, New York and Vancouver. Wave Group Chairman Raju Chadha and filmmaker & CEO Wave Cinemas Rahul Mittra were impressed by Zubaan’s unique and fresh approach to mainstream filmmaking and feel that it is going to be a significant film for Bollywood.
Zubaan is a coming of age story of a young man who has a fear of music, who finds his freeedom, his voice and his music!
Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series is on board as the music label and is projecting it to be the musical album of 2016.
The cool musical, is a Wave Cinemas Ponty Chadha presentation in association with Raju Chadha and is produced by Guneet Monga and Shaan Vyas of Sikhya Entertainment (makers of The Lunchbox and Masaan) & Metamozez Entertainment.
