Students from Whistling Wood International Organise National Event

Students from Whistling Woods International- school of Communication (WWISOC) are organizing a 45 days national event across 15 cities from November 25, 2011. The main aim of the event is to educate youths in the media and communication industry.

The event will also be a platform for aspiring media students to showcase their talent. A ‘Young Communication Achiever’ Award will be presented to young people who have made a remarkable contribution to the media and communication industry.

Professionals from the media namely Amer Jaleel (National Creative Head, Lowe India), Anubhav Singh (film maker),  Brian Tellis (CEO, Fountain Head Promotions & Events), Shabbir Ahluwalia, Mayank Gandhi (Active Member, IAC), Sanjay Khanna (Director), Manoj Bhatnagar (Producer) along with Subhash Ghai (Founder & Chairman, WWI), and professor Ujjwal Chowdhury (Dean WWISOC) will be a part of the expert panel. Insights on the changing trends of the media industry will also be given by professionals attending the events.

Subhash Ghai remarked, “This is a great opportunity for students to learn more about the media and entertainment field. The team of panelists will have a great deal to contribute and for the students to learn. Whistling Woods International is creating an amazing platform for students worldwide through this initiative.”
