Kunal Kohli’s film starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra just wrapped with a final schedule in India. The film, which still needs a title and we hear will be decided on through a contest, is scheduled to release in June of this year. We have been getting little glimpses into what the film will be about and though we don’t know much, we do know that it is a romantic tale that spans over 100 years and sees the pair in four different time periods and each as four different avatars.
For this last schedule, Kunal wanted to shoot in a location that had old fort like structures and chose the Aurangabad fort in Maharashtra. Last Friday, Shahid was shooting there and tweeted, “Shooting at the beautiful aurangabad fort ……….. Stunning.” Since he was so close, the actor was very keen to see the world famous archeological site Ellora Caves. However, with security being an issue, he was not able to visit the site. However, we hear Shahid has promised himself that he will definitely come and see them on a quieter personal trip. These are the times he misses the anonymity of being a normal guy, but then success and fame have a price tag.
Shahid tweeted on that last day, “And another one bites the dust ….. Its a wrap on the film ……. So strange is the journey. Of an actor everything is like a chapter. Living many lives in one ……. Could only b possible cause of what I do … Heading back home from the beautiful Aurangabad ….. To new beginnings ……… Living in the moment …….. Being true …….. Living free …….. N loving this journey called life ..”
Director Kunal Kohli also took to Twitter to share his thoughts, “And its a film wrap.Took the last shot of @shahidkapoor & @priyankachopra, don’t ask how I’m feeling.Overwhelmed!Love my team. Will miss them.”
Here’s a couple of shots from the shoot.
