Suraj Jagan, the singer behind the award winning song ‘Give Me Some Sunshine’, has lent his voice to a promotional track for Ang Lee’s Life Of Pi.
The song has been composed by the talented musician & composer, Shrikanth Sriram, who was approached by Fox Star Studios India & Sony Music to compose a promotional track for the Indian release of the film. Recorded just a week back, the track is in Hindi, with lyrics by KC Loy.
Commenting on this forthcoming release Suraj says “Even though I have known Sri for years, this is the first time we have recorded a song together. The composition is beautiful and is enhanced by the melodious flute played by Sri himself. This is the first time I have sung for a big budget Hollywood film, and to top it all, it’s for Life of Pi. I am deeply honored and grateful for being given the opportunity to be a part of this.”
Life of Pi will be in theaters this November.
