“I am not in favor of Kahaani 2″ – Saswata Chatterjee

If there was anyone who ruled the internet after Kahaani, it was the contract killer Bob Biswas i.e. Saswata Chatterjee. But he is not game for a sequel to Kahaani, as opposed to director Sujoy Ghosh who is keen on the sequel.

“I am not in favour of Kahaani 2. I don’t believe in sequels, in the first place. Even if Kahaani 2 is made, I will not be in it as my part is over,” he stated.

Saswata also added that according to him, sequels never work out. “Tell me which sequel of a hit Hindi film has ever worked like the original,” he questioned.

Saswata is currently shooting for Nik Dutta’s next film Aschorjo Prodip and has turned down 2 Bollywood films, saying that his dates are booked till the end of 2013.
