Honorable Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called Masaan an “Excellent movie. A must watch” and praised Richa Chadha’s acting after watching the film at a special screening held in Delhi on July 25. The actress Richa Chadha and director Neeraj Ghaywan of Cannes Film Festival winner film were also present at the screening hosted by the producer Guneet Monga. “It is a great honour for the team of Masaan that the honorable CM watched our film and appreciated it. It’s a huge encouragement for an indie film.” says Monga sharing her excitement.The other members of Aam Aadmi Party including Kumar Vishwas, the National Executive of AAP and Ashutosh, the spokesperson of AAP were also present at the screening.
After the screening Kejriwal tweeted, “Just saw Masaan. Excellent movie. A must watch” followed by another tweet praising the acting skills of Richa Chadha “Ur acting in Masaan is superb”. Neeraj Ghaywan’d directorial debut stars Richa Chadha, Sanjay Mishra and newcomers Vicky Kaushal and Shweta Tripathi in the lead roles.
