Prahlad Kakkar showed to qualms in calling out Abhishek Bachchan and the likes of him when he openly spoke about star sons being “useless”. As a prime example, he pointed out Abhishek’s string of 17 nonstop flops. Of course, the media and audience at the debate found the comment remarkable. However this didn’t sit too well with the case in cause: Abhishek Bachchan.
The actor went on to openly jut back at the ace adman by tweeting, “I love Prahlad Kakkar, he should be a stand-up comic not an ad-filmmaker. Maybe then someone will take him seriously! This coming from a man who makes commercials with his own son.” This came after Kakkar went on to call Bollywood nothing short of a “mom and pop store”.
Bachchan junior went on to further clarify Kakkar’s comment on his need to be in the Guinness Book of Record for his flop record, “Oh ya, Prahlad, I’m already in the Guinness Book of World Records and a very proud son. I hope you give your sons an opportunity to say the same someday.” A.B. Jr. was referring to his world tour during the promotions of Delhi 6. The actor was the first man in the world to make the maximum amount of appearances all over the world in a span of 12 hours.
