The US entertainment channel E!, in the most important poll in the US this year, has voted Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as the woman with the world’s sexiest eyes. Chinese actress Shu Qi, seen in the breathtaking Transporter and the outstanding So Close, was voted the woman with the sexiest lips. Other women honoured included Giselle Bundchen (legs), Eva Mendes (hair), Charlize Theron (shoulders), Scarlett Johanssen (breasts), Jennifer Garner (smile), Jessica Biel (bottom) and Fergie (abs). Surprisingly, there’s no award for belly button! Inevitably, some college student somewhere will now be putting all those parts together on Photoshop to create the perfect woman; if that happens to be you… Send it in and we’ll see who can create the best breed!
Meanwhile, former Miss World Aishwarya, who has achieved just about everything in the industry, is looking forward to the release of The Pink Panther 2 in February and is currently working on Endhiran, the Kollywood movie due for release in 2010. She has been under a bit of pressure recently with father-in-law Amitabh’s illness and also her own father falling ill and being treated for cancer. She’s also facing a big bill from the tax service dating back to 1994.
However, she has had husband Abhishek at her side a fair bit to help. They visited the Kedarnath shrine together to offer pooja and they have also been working together on Ravana, a re-telling of the Ramayana which has some interesting twists in the tail. Aish of course plays Sita in both the Hindi and Tamil versions. However, Abhi will be restricting himself to the Hindi version only. Meanwhile, Aish’s big hit from earlier this year Jodhaa Akbar has just walked off with the prize at the International Muslim Film Festival.
