Alia Bhatt opened the group painting exhibition SPLASSH in Bandra. Punctual to the ‘T’, she was at the venue exactly at 4 PM. “I am here because of Smruti aunty. I had realized that I too can paint when I was in 9th class and even have one of my charcoal painting hanging in my room, so that everybody can praise it,” she laughed.
SPLASSH is a group show of paintings showcasing the works of various artists – Oil painting by Varsha Parikh & Smruti Bukhanwala, Graphic in Jute by Sandeep Ashar, Charcoal work by Kalpana Ved, Mix Media works by Varsha Thakkar & Deepa Dhuri and Abstract by Banglore Artist Madhushri Thirani. It was an amalgamation of colours & vivid concepts.
