Asin had to be rushed to hospital after a gas leak in her caravan in Thirumayam made her faint. She was busy shooting there for the movie Kaavalkaran. The young actress was working in the caravan with her hair stylist and make-up man when they first noticed the stench. A gas pipe had been blocked open and a dead insect was the cause of the smell. Ignoring it at first, they carried on working but then the make-up man fainted and Asin rushed from the caravan gasping. All three are now doing fine.
Always willing to give anything a try, Asin recently rode in a bullock cart. Sharing a car with friends on the way to the airport, they spotted the cart and when her friends dared her to ride in it, she couldn’t resist – doing so for nearly half an hour. “Asin was to catch a flight to Mumbai and was accompanied by three friends,” confirms a friend, “On the way, they spotted a bullock cart and one thing led to another. When her friends challenged Asin to ride on it, she immediately agreed.”
Kaavalkaram is a remake of the superhit Mollywood movie Bodyguard and teams up Asin with Vijay for the third time after their hits Sivakasi and Pokkiri. After this, Asin is likely to team up with her co-star from the disaster-prone London Dreams, Salman Khan, for the action movie Ready.
