Noreen Khan: In Conversation with Adnan Sami will be on BBC Asian Network on Wednesday 16th May, 3pm – 6pm. and it will also be on BBC Red Button from 14th May!

Having often been referred to as the fastest keyboard player in the world, the British born Pakistani/Indian Canadian singer, musician, pianist and composer Adnan Sami has made music for numerous big films including Ajnabee, Sargam, Waqt and Jaan-E-Mann to name a few. Throughout the programme he discusses how he got into music, the importance of his family and how he lost 145kg. The event was filmed and was shown on BBC Red Button from 14th May.

It gave some lucky listeners the opportunity to hear stories about his success in both his private and professional lives as well as get their questions answered.

About the special evening with Adnan Sami, Noreen Khan told us exclusively, “Hearing Adnan talk so openly about his music, his relationship with this father, son and wife and of course his weight loss was truely insightful. The event was unique and special for our audience as it gave them the opportunity to hear the intimate personal stories and witness him playing on the grand piano and sing his big hits. It was a real honour for me to be hosting this In Convo with Adnan Sami.”
