Bipasha Basu is ready to return to Kashmir to complete the filming of Lamhaa. Earlier the star had left the set in a hurry when she felt her personal safety was at stake when security arrangements began to break down. “Work is very important for me but at that time my life was beyond work,” she explains, “I don’t go to risk my life for any film. Now this time there will not be any trouble hopefully.” Additional security arrangements have been negotiated by the producers and the local police which it is hoped will resolve the problem.
Bipasha has recently been talking about her growing friendship with Kareena Kapoor. “There has never been a fight between us,” she says, “Kareena is a good friend of mine. At Saif Ali Khan’s birthday party she took good care of me and didn’t leave me alone even for a second. She is a good human being but I didn’t get a chance to know her before.”
Bipasha’s upcoming movies include the fascinating fantasy Pankh with Maradona Rebello and Lillette Dubey and Aa Dekhan Zara, the tense drama with Neil Nitin Mukesh that was formerly called Freeze.
Not many people know this but Bips believes in gemology and can often be seen wearing a Kanaka pushyaragam on her right index finger.
