Nach Baliye – Bunty Aur Babli
If there was ever a track that could be said to have ruined the shear beauty of a track than Nach Baliye would definitely be it. Besides the horrendous wardrobes of both Abhishek and Rani this songs ruined everything that was the essence of BNB. The movie was Indian. The characters were Indian. This very track was Indian. However choreographer Shamaik Davar couldn’t resist bringing in his contemporary feel to the song, which in most cases would have been appreciated but was certainly not welcome in a track that was 1oo% desi. Every fan of this song had imagined it in every other way but the way it was finally presented on celluloid. Shanker, Ehsaan and Loy definitely deserve an apology for the disaster that was created of a track with such high potential.
