Divya Dutta surely feels that she is an underrated actress. The actress who was recently seen in the much applauded Bhaag Milkha Bhaag has been receiving rave reviews for her role as ‘Isri’. Divya has over the years created her own niche and believes that she has never got what she has truly deserved. She has been well appreciated by many bollywood actors and critics for her role in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. “I’m surely an underrated actress. People have been very kind and industry colleagues feel that I deserve better”, said Divya when asked about what she thinks about herself.
Divya who has acted in films like Heroine, Gippi, and Veer Zaara among many others, feels she is glad to have done such roles as it doesn’t stereotype her image and has given her an opportunity to experiment with herself. However, she still feels that acting in a biopic is more challenging than doing any other regular film. “I have played real life roles in films like Kahani Gudiya Ki and Shaheed. Such roles are definitely very challenging because one has to do justice to people who have lived that life. When that is achieved, it definitely feels very good.” quoted Divya.
The actress who is currently enjoying the success of BMB said she is also excited about her upcoming projects. “I have a Hollywood project that will be releasing by the end of the year. There are two other projects that I am in talks for but it’s too early to speak about them.”
