The crew also erected an artificial moonlight for these outdoor shoots as filming continued until 2 am in the morning on most days. Anupam Kher also took some time meet his fans after he finished shooting but was unwell the next day and went to see a doctor.

Deepika Padukone was shocked to see more than 50 people running towards her when she came out one day in the evening to film a scene wearing a skirt. She only said “Oh My God” looking at the bizarre scene, just before she was surrounded by her bodyguards. The director, assistant directors, production team and security guards had to stop fans who tried to get too close to the Om Shanti Om actress.
