BollySpice recently launched a one of a kind podcast dedicated to Bollywood and only four episodes in, the podcast has gained itself a number of fans because of its unique outline and presentation.

July 15, 2010 – FilmiTalkies by BollySpice.com has become incredibly popular after only a few episodes. What first began as a way to encourage readers of the site to indulge in a new and innovative way to hear their favorite writers has now become not only a source of entertainment but a place for great debate. The fans that the podcast quickly acquired have not been shy about voicing their opinions regarding the views of the podcast hosts. And while they may not completely agree with both hosts, they make sure they tune in every week.

Initially, each podcast was said to be dedicated to reviewing a film. However, over the last few weeks, the director and hosts have decided to move away from the usual. Instead, they have come up with some innovative topics that the podcasts will cover other than reviewing a recently released film.

The hosts have been questioned as to their rather odd choice of music that they have chosen to feature as the podcast begins. In this week’s episode, the hosts explain their randomness as they discuss the important cinema news that made headlines. Additionally, the girls discuss films they loved which didn’t necessary work with audiences or at the box office. This made for a fun and innovative discussion as the hosts got uncanny and revealed their reasons for loving films including 8 x 10 Tasveer, Main Prem Ki Diwani Hoon and many more.

Listeners can log on to the site (bollyspice.com/podcast) and listen to the podcast streaming via an embedded played or download an MP3 version. The podcast can also be retrieved from iTunes. A new edition of FilmiTalkies by BollySpice will be available to listeners every Sunday.
