Four years on from when they first caused a comedic riot on cinema screens, the four jokers reunite to give audiences a much anticipated, follow-up dose of ‘Double Dhamaal’. Set to cause madcap mayhem in cinemas across UK and worldwide, ‘Double Dhamaal’ is released by Reliance Pictures on 24th June 2011.

Reopening the stitches of laughter from the first time around, much-loved director Indra Kumar presents comedy kingpins Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaafery and Ashish Chowdhry, as they reprise their roles and reunite to cause havoc once more for moody cop, Sanjay Dutt. With jaw-dropping beauty added to the mix courtesy of screen vixen Mallika Sherawat and dazzling damsel Kangna Ranaut, temperatures will soar this summer as ‘Double Dhamaal’ spreads an epidemic of laughter across cinema theatres. The rollercoaster film ride is complemented by an equally infectious soundtrack of peppy numbers by composer, Anand Raj Anand ensuring audiences will emerge with a smile on their faces and a hum on their lips.

SYNOPSIS: The four, good-for- nothing jokers – ‘Roy’ (Riteish Deshmukh), ‘Manav’ (Jaaved Jaafery), ‘Adi’ (Arshad Warsi) and ‘Boman’ (Ashish Chowdhry) – are back to cause havoc again, as gormless and hapless as ever. Hard work is strictly off-limits for them and the only activity they have ever done in their lives is to sit on their backsides and dream about the high life, where they have everything by doing nothing. Suddenly, they happen across their old arch enemy – the corrupt ‘Inspector Kabir’ (Sanjay Dutt). But he’s no longer a cop and instead of chasing crooks, he’s chasing cash – driving a Merc and occupying a lavish office and a luxury villa.

The four stooges are green with envy and decide that, come what may, by hook or by crook, they will amass a piece of Kabir’s good fortune. So begins a blackmail plot to coerce Kabir into making them his business partners. They are in seventh heaven with all their dreams coming true. However their dreams soon turn to nightmare as Kabir has his own hidden agenda, only shared by his sultry wife ‘Kamini’ (Mallika Sherawat) and lovely sister ‘Kiya’ (Kangna Ranaut).

And so begins a perilous game of one-up-manship, with both sides pulling tricks from their sleeves and where shady characters like bhai turned sadhu, ‘Batabhai’ (Satish Kaushik) and King of Casinos ‘Johnny Bonzola’, turn up to make the foursome’s lives a misery. And of course there’s a helluva lot of dough at stake!

There are twists and turns aplenty and a bellyful of laughs to be had. But who will have the last laugh – Crafty Kabir or our four loveable rogues? Be sure to catch the follow-up installment to one of Indian cinema’s most prized comedy gems, dazzling audiences from 24th June through Reliance Pictures.
