Bubbly Genelia D’Souza finds it hard to decide where her heart lies. Is it Bollywood or Tollywood? “I love both the industries as both are close to my heart,” she says, “I started my career with Telugu films and I got recognition in Bollywood. But the success of Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na with Imran Khan has done wonders for my career.”

Genelia has a number of good movie roles lined up, including Hook Ya Crook with John Abraham and Amrita Rao. It’s a cricketing movie, which also features Indian captain MS Dhoni. Then there’s It’s My Life, with Harman Baweja – it’s a remake of her own Tollywood success Bommarillu. Finally, there’s Life Partner with Govinda, Prachi Desai and Fardeen Khan.

Genelia is also going great guns on the product endorsement front, having recently been chosen as the face of Fanta, in particular the new Fanta Apple flavour with the tagline ‘Go Bite!’ “Apple is one of the most preferred fruits in the country,” said a very perceptive marketing source at Fanta, “This product has been developed especially for Indian palates, and it is a step towards strengthening the company’s market leadership in the fruit flavoured sparkling drink segment.”
