Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are redefining Shaandaar with the first song release of their film– ‘Gulaabo’. The groovy song, with music by Amit Trivedi and sung by the great Vishal Dadlani and Anusha Mani, was launched last week and within just 18 hours, had over 2.6 million views! Not only that, it is the fastest song to start trending Worldwide on Twitter and in India! Now isn’t that totally smashing & super Shaandaar? Well, the audience certainly thinks so! What is even cooler is that the song has now hit 4 million views and it still going strong!
Starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, Shaandaar is an upcoming Indian romantic comedy film, directed by Vikas Bahl. The film, which is set for release on October 22nd is set against the backdrop of a big fat “Shaandaar” Indian wedding at an exotic castle in Europe. It is a love triangle between the protagonists – Aliya and Jagjinder Joginder and Bipin (Aliya’s father). Bipin believes there’s no guy that will be good enough for his daughter while Aliya is a dreamer but her dreams are whacked out and Jagjinder Joginder is a doer, he can make anything happen! And for obvious reasons, Bipin hates Jagjinder Joginder. The journey of Aliya, Jagjinder Joginder and Bipin in the chaotic and lavish wedding is the story of Shaandaar. It’s a fairy tale love story that everyone has always dreamt of.
