I look forward to the day when writers of Hindi horror flicks will find something new to explore other than the done-and-dusted tale of the angry atma/spirit seeking revenge. That line in itself has probably turned you off this Friday’s release, Rajeev Virani’s Help. The film has the unconventional cast of Bobby Deol and Mugdha Godse but perhaps the makers were under the misconception that a fresh couple would counteract the effects of a not-so-fresh script.
Help is no different to the hundreds of horror films our makers have churned out since time immemorial. It’s the usual horror/supernatural story of an unhappy spirit returning from the past upon the occurrence of a certain event. In this case the event is all the lead character returning to a cryptic house (d
