Sashaying herself into the lead as the most seductive of the Nagin ever must be the enchanting, beguiling Rekha returning to the genre in Sheshnaag (1990) dressed in rippling satin floorlength gowns peregrinating around her sets like she could hypnotise a mongoose with a glance. Reena Roy also makes an appearance – this time in support, as do Jeetendra and Rishi Kapoor. Sheshnaag is the story of the serpent king of the same name and Rekha appears in one of her most glamourous avatars with more lip gloss than a L’Oreal distribution centre. Wonderful!
