The news was big when Mani Ratnam and Aamir Khan declared that they were to work together. But after the announcements, fans heard nothing.
Rumour had it that there had been a fall out between Aamir Khan and Mani Ratnam. However, Bollywood portal Glam Sham reports otherwise.
Apparently, the shooting of the project titled ‘Lajjo’ is to happen mostly outdoors amongst the beautiful scenery of Rajajsthan. However, due to the harsh summer weather the project was delayed. Therefore, Aamir Khan continued to shoot for his Ghajini-remake.
Now, after the fiasco the movie is all set to commence shooting in the last quarter of this year.
The movie is based on renowned Urdu writer Ismat Chughtai’s classic ‘Lajjo’ and will also star Kareena Kapoor. Though the title is not yet finalised, it’s not certain whether it will bear the same name as the book.
Come to last quarter of this year and we shall see!
