Hema Malini has much reason to celebrate as her movie, Tell Me Oh Khuda which was launched on her daughter Esha Deol’s birthday (November 2) is complete. The shoot was wrapped up 355 days later according to Malini’s cousin, Mohan Raghavan who is co-producer of the film. This film, said to be Esha’s comeback, is a milestone for the family as it will be the first time she will share screen space with her father, Darmendra who plays her reel-life father.
Mohan told Times of India, “This is a very big film and essaying this role was a pleasure for Esha. She has done most of her stunts and action scenes herself. The film has some fantastic scenes in some of the most picturesque locales – we have shot in Turkey, Goa, Rajasthan and more,” says Mohan.
Tell Me Oh Khuda is the story of Esha’s character who goes in search of her biological parents. Her look in the film is said to be a ‘de-glam’ one and she even had to learn how to ride a camel.
The film is expected to release early next year.
