Kangna Ranaut, who turned many heads at the premiere of Dulha Mil Gaye in a short waisted off-the-shoulder olive green dress with peacock fringe, says she enjoys high fashion but likes to also explore high street labels. “I’ve every big designer from Galliano to Alexander McQueen in my wardrobe,” she explains, “But since I come from a middle-class background, I consciously wear labels that any girl can think of emulating. I often wear high-street brands for events. For Paa premier, I wore an Armani shirt with Zara pants and matched it with shoes from Aldo.”

Following the trauma of her break-up with Adhyayan Suman, Kangna is now concentrating on her career. “I am clear about my priorities now,” she says, “People at times judge me. They say that she says her priority is her career and her ambitions… but that’s ok. I am not ashamed of the fact that it actually is.”

Kangna is known for her ability to seemingly morph physically into any character she is playing but admits this can sometimes be a problem. “Sometimes it can be embarrassing,” she confirms, “Recently, at the Paa premiere, one of my co-stars was treating me like a fan. It was only when I said, ‘I am Kangna,’ that he realised that it was me. It’s so embarrassing, we work together for 60 days and they don’t recognise me.”
